What is enterprise digital asset management?

Enterprise digital asset management is DAM built for large-organization scale and governance: millions of assets, petabyte storage, thousands of users across regions and subsidiaries, identity-integrated access control, complete audit trails, and deployment options — cloud, hybrid, on-premises, air-gapped — that satisfy security and sovereignty policy rather than fight it.

The requirements that define 'enterprise'

Identity integration (SAML SSO, SCIM provisioning) so access follows the HR system; role-based permissions to the asset level, including delegated administration for regions and brands; audit logging that satisfies compliance review; rights and license governance at portfolio scale; and APIs deep enough that the DAM becomes infrastructure other systems build on rather than an island.
