ioMoVo V1.0.01.220126 delivers smarter face recognition, better people management, and more flexible insights—helping users find, organize, and control their content faster and more accurately.
We’re excited to announce the release of ioMoVo V1.0.01.220126, a major update focused on making content discovery more intelligent, people management more precise, and insights more customizable than ever before.
This release brings powerful new capabilities across face recognition, metadata management, taxonomy, and model flexibility—designed to help teams find what matters faster and work with confidence.
ioMoVo now allows users to define custom face metadata such as names, roles, tags, categories, and more. These details can be created centrally and applied instantly across the platform, ensuring consistency wherever a face appears. Updates sync in real time, making people-based search and filtering far more powerful.
With the enhanced Train Face experience, users can easily link detected faces to real individuals—whether from a single file or in bulk. Smart name suggestions help reduce duplication, while trained faces improve recognition accuracy over time, turning your content into a searchable people network.
New controls allow users to decide whether insights should show only trained faces or all detected faces, giving teams flexibility depending on whether they want focused results or broader discovery.
The People tab now supports sorting faces by the total number of associated media files. This makes it easy to identify frequently appearing individuals or focus on faces with fewer files for cleanup and review.
Explore people visually with the new Face Gallery View, which shows every image where a person appears. In image previews, the View All Faces option lets users review all detected faces at once—saving time and simplifying comparisons.
Managing people data is now easier and safer:
The new Taxonomy feature gives users full control over how insights are detected and organized. Define structured taxonomies—such as tags, categories, brands, objects, or topics—and apply them across images, videos, documents, and audio files. This results in cleaner, more relevant, and highly actionable insights.
ioMoVo now supports Bring Your Own (BYO) models, including:
Users can connect and manage their own AI models directly, giving them complete control over how workflows are powered—especially when using ioPilot.
ioPilot is now integrated into ioPortal, allowing portal users to access AI-powered workflows directly. Portal creators can manage access easily, and for security and control, portal usage supports BYO models only.
Additionally, portal image previews now include View All functionality for Faces, Objects, and Brands—bringing consistency with the core ioMoVo experience.
With ioMoVo V1.0.01.220126, teams gain:
This release represents a big step forward in making ioMoVo more intelligent, visual, and user-controlled—helping you turn content into meaningful, actionable intelligence.
